Overview

The Ealing Institute of Media is a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE)
in Broadcast Media and Animation and a Skillset Screen Academy in
partnership with the London College of Communication. Both of these
classifications are stamps of quality from independent bodies, the Learning
Skills Council and Skillset, the Sector Skills Council for the Audio Visual
industries; which classify EIM as one of a select few educational providers in
the country to meet the highest standards of education and skills development
programmes for future workforces in the media and design industries.
The EIM is also an authorised Apple Training Centre.

In order to ensure that we always teach the skills that are of most value to employers and the industry at
the time, we run an Employers Forum in which we consult professionals in the Creative Industries about our
core curriculum. Our connections with employers, including the world-famous Ealing Studios and The BBC,
and our status as a Screen Academy, provide opportunities for students to benefit from master-classes,
collaborative projects and careers advice from industry professionals.

All of our courses aim to equip students with the optimum mix of theoretical and practical knowledge
that will not only provide them with a recognised qualification, but will supply them with the valuable skills
that the media and design industries demand.

Beyond the traditional curriculum and modes of delivery, we are prepared to offer bespoke programmes,
tailored to fit the needs of local employers and the wider community. We are entirely flexible in meeting the
workforce development and up-skilling needs of employers large and small and we are committed to responding
rapidly to whatever proposal is made to us.

Based in the heart of Ealing, our state-of-the-art facilities make Ealing Institute of Media (EIM) the perfect choice for small to medium sized productions or as a location. The EIM has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and offers for hire a professional black out sound proofed TV studio with fully equipped control suite and sound production booth, a secondary studio, Mac and PC editing suites and a range of first class equipment.
